| I purchased Evella from Brightwells Cheltenham sale in May 2009. Measuring 16.2hh with lots of bone, She is what I would describe as a lovely old fashioned steeple chasing type of mare. From four point to point starts in Ireland, she has been 1st, 2nd and 3rd in big fields. After riding her out on her arrival here, I turned her away for the summer. She will be a real winter horse who I think will be seen at her best over fences next season, hopefully on her owners local tracks - Leicester and Towcester. (June 2010) Evella gave her owners alot of fun last season. She finished 2nd first time out in a Towcester Bumper before winning twice over hurdles in the mud and then ran really well in the mares final at Newbury on her last start. She will go chasing this season. |
