| This little horse has proved a real fun horse. In two seasons he has ran 34 times both on the flat, over hurdles and once in a chase. He has been 2nd six times and 3rd four times. He gave Clare Twemlow her first rides over hurdles and on the flat where they finished a very good second at Towcester and at Southwell on the all weather. He is the ultimate horse for an amateur / owner rider as he is effective 1mile 2f on the flat and right up to 3m2f over hurdles and on any ground. He is back in training after his summer holiday and we are looking forward to those cold wet muddy days at his beloved Towcester. Ramvaswani finally ( at his 54th attempt! ) got off the mark at Plumpton on Easter sunday. Alex gave him the most fantastic ride making most of the running in a never say die fashion. Ramvaswani as a tough great fun horse who runs more times in a season than any other horse in the yard really deserved this - he then finished 3rd the next day again at Plumpton. He will be back again this season. |
