| This is a lovely type of horse. He has the makings of a high class chaser. He is a 16.2hh gelding whose dam is a half sister to the 19 time, group 1 winning BEEF OR SALMON. He is a very straight forward individual who has been hunting through the autumn, which he has taken to exceptionally well, having lots of compliments paid to him. Feb 2010 Update. I have now hunted Airstrike 6 times with 3 different packs jumping timber, hedges and ditches. He has to be one of the nicest horses i have ever hunted. It has done him the power of good, at home now he is much sharper and has schooled great over fences. If the ground stays soft long enough I will run him in the spring otherwise I will leave him until next year. |
