We have a busy few days coming up with runners. On Thursday 10th Dec we could have 4 runners at Huntingdon and another 5 at Ludlow, followed by 2 or 3 at Doncaster Friday and Saturday. Rumbling Thunder should improve on his Fakenham 4th - although I am sure this will be a better race, Gunnadoit will wear blinkers for the first time over the course and distance he won and was 2nd over in the spring.
At Ludlow Ramvaswani should give Mark Marris a competitive ride in the amateur riders hurdle (he is in the best form that he has been in this term) Aega who runs in the bumper is much better than she showed last time and We're Delighted will be running in a tongue strap for the first time and should run very well.
The ground may be on the soft side for Pairc Na Gcapall and Little Firecracker.
I am really looking forward to seeing Farleigh House make his debut over hurdles at Doncaster ( I have never had a horse more impressive on the schooling grounds than him) and assuming Zepnove has got over her exertions from Leicester last week - she will be very interesting taking on her elders for the first time over a longer trip receiving a huge weight for age allowance. |
